About the Quality Service Council

The Quality Service Council (QSC) is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1994 and is headquartered in San Diego, CA. QSC is governed by its members through an elected Board of Directors and administered by a professional staff.

The purpose of the Quality Service Council is to act as a catalyst to promote the highest standards of quality and service among manufacturers and service companies on a global basis.

QSC seeks to achieve improvements in among manufacturers by promoting standards of excellence embodied in the national Malcolm Baldrige Award and to serve as a channel of communication between companies and consumers to resolve complaints and issues that are deemed harmful or disadvantageous to consumers. By strengthening dialogue between consumers and manufacturers, QSC is able to enhance product quality, product safety, and align the interests of manufacturers with the goals of consumers – to purchase safe, reliable products and services.

The Quality Service Council achieves its purpose through the dissemination of information, training programs, member events and recognizing deserving companies for their commitment to quality and service.

The Quality Service Council also partners with several nonprofit credit unions to serve the needs of its growing membership.
